Beer, Bratwursts and Brezn…Oktoberfest comes to the Snowdon
The world’s largest beer festival, originating in Munich, Germany has inspired us to do our own beer festival. We might not be able to head to Munich so we thought we would bring a corner of Oktoberfest to us!
Join us from Monday 23rd of September until Sunday 6th of October for all things Oktoberfest! We have a great selection of German & Bavarian beers on offer as well as some yummy Bavarian specials on the menu.
Food Specials
Our traditional Bavarian specials will be served alongside our normal bar menu. The dishes are designed to complement the hearty brews:
TRADITIONAL BAVARIAN SALTED PRETZEL with a beer & cheese dip 5.95
GERMAN PORK SCHNITZEL with garlic & parsley mash, sauerkraut and warm lemon & herb butter 15.95
SPICED CHILLI BEEF FRANKFURTER in a brioche roll with German mustard, ketchup & Bratkartoffein fries 15.95
CHEESE FRANKFURTER with Emmental cheese, Burkhardt mustard, curried ketchup and Bratkartoffeln fries tossed in pancetta and onions 15.95
Drink Specials
The centrepiece of Oktoberfest is undoubtedly the beer, we have picked some great classic Munich based breweries to feature for the week. Interestingly only six Munich-based breweries are allowed to serve beer at the actual festival, adhering to the strict German Beer Purity Law (Reinheitsgebot). We have picked six of our favourites beers as well as created a special bavarian cocktail for the event:
